New Years Day Parade 2012.

This year the New Years Day Parade reaches it's 26th year and this year is the first offical engagement of the Queens Diamond Jubilee year.

Once again this year we are proud to be sponsoring the London Parade and have produced a bespoke bear especially for the occassion. The bear retails at £14.99 and is available in all of our stores in the West End and online.

There will be lots of fun and activities taking place at our stores along the Parade route during the parade, so come along and see us.

TRAFFIC FREE SHOPPING ON OXFORD STREET

Shoppers take priority........It happens only twice per year and this weekend it's twice as long! So why not visit Oxford Street this weekend and enjoy this famous destination in all it's glory.

Oxford Street and Regent Street will be closed to cars, buses and taxi's between 11 am and 6 pm on both Staurday 10th Dec 2011 and Sunday 11th Dec 2011. This means that you can come along and enjoy some Christmas shopping without having to dodge the traffic.

You can find us at Marble Arch, opposite Selfridges and near the junction with Tottenham Court Road. 

We know it's not in the official traffic free area but if your near the bottom of Regent St you can find us at Piccadilly Circus.

West End VIP Weekend 10th 11th December

Crest of London are pleased announce the launch of a new London childrens adventure Nelson n Deck. Written by C M Gillott the book is a fantastic introduction to London, it has bright and colourful characters,which will help parents familiarise their children to our great capital city.

C M Gillott will be in store on the 10th December 2011 signing copies of each book puchased on the day. So why not come along and enjoy the fun, you may well find yourself in the next Nelson n Deck adventure as our competition for the day is for two children to win the chance to become a character in the next book. Interested? then visit our store at 443 Oxford St on the 10th December 2011.

In addition to that for each copy of the book sold Crest of London and C M Gillott will donate £1 to the childrens charity Kids Company.

Crest of London sponsors the Royal Wedding Walk.

Did you see the wedding? Do you want to know more about the British Royal family? If you do we are pleased to announce that this season Crest of London is sponsoring the Royal Wedding Walk from the Original London Sightseeing Tour.

The walk is provided free of charge to customers who have purchased an Original London Sightseeing Tour Bus ticket.

The walk takes you through the history of Royal Weddings from Henry VIII and his six wives through to the modern day and of course the most recent marraige of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge otherwise known as Prince William and Catherine.

Crest Bear will attend the Mad Hatters Tea Party in 2011

In January2011 Crest Bear once again will be attending the Mad Hatters Tea Party which is organised by The London Taxi Drivers' Fund for Underprivileged Children. 

Crest Bear and all the team at Crest of London are very proud to be associated with the charity and we very much look forward to meeting the children on the day.

Shop West End VIP Day.

We are plese to announce that once again we are supporting the Shop West End VIP Day.

This years event will take place on Saturday 27th November.

Our 3 stores along Oxford Street will be taking part in this special shopping day, which closes both Oxford Street and Regent Street to traffic making it the ideal enviornment for you to do your Christmas Shopping. The event is even bigger and better this with road closures in place between 10am to 6pm and most retailers opening until 9pm!

This years sponsor is American Express who are offering all their customers double reward points for all transaction processed in the West End over the weekend of 27th and 28th November.

New Junior Winners at the 2010 Championships

As previously reported Crest of London sponsored the World Junior Conker Championship that was held near Oundle in Northamptonshire on Sunday. There was a fantatstic turnout and lots of entrants vieing to be the World Conker Champion 2010.

There were three competative catagories in the Junior event and 2 of last years winners came back to try and retain their title. Alas it was not to be and this year we have three fresh winners in each catagory.

Junior World Conker Championship 2010

Crest of London are proud to announce their continued support for the Junior World Conker Championship in 2010.

We were so impressed by the championships last year, from the event organisers, the actual day and of course the enthusiasm of all the participants who took on the challenge to be a World Conker Champion; we just had to come back.
