All eyes have now turned to London who will host the Olympic Games in 2 year's time.

New Years Day Parade 2010

The parade in London has evolved into one of the worlds greatest street spectaculars with around 10,000 participants with hundreds and thousands of spectators lining the streets of London to see the event. Read more about the event at www.londonparade.co.uk

The New Years Day Parade 2010 was a huge success with over 3000 participants in the marching bands and this year saw a record number of floats from the local London boroughs.

In January Crest Bear will be attending the Mad Hatters Tea Party which is organised by The London Taxi Drivers' Fund for Underprivileged Children.

We are very excited to announce that this year Crest of London will be sponsoring the Junior World Conker Championships.

The championships, now in their 44th year are keeping the great British tradition of conker playing alive. With 17 different countries already signed up to play this years event, it looks like it's going to be a very competative day.

Gift Retailer Of The Year Winner

Crest of London has won an award in this year's The Greats Gift Retailer of the Year Awards. We won the category of Best Gift Retailer Initiative for the introduction of our instore and online radio station, Crest Radio.

Progressive Gifts and Home magazine held their seventh 'Greats' retail awards ceremony on Thursday 21st May where the winners were announced. These awards are the most coveted within our industry, so we are really proud to have won this fantastic award.

Caroline Stacpoole, Crests Company Director accepted the award and said that "she was thrilled that Crest had been recognised for it's radio station. It has been an exciting development within the business this year and for it to be recognised in this way is just fantastic."

The award will join our previous Greats award which was won in 2006 the best souvenir retailer of the year, which was the final time that particular category was awarded.
